Why make art?

For me, making art is a way to think and feel my way through the world. It is dialogue, dance, a call and response that requires listening.

What are the limits? Where are the secrets? It is a language of thoughts through gestures, the understanding of space in time, and the glimpse of time in gestures.

It is the contradiction of light and darkness in space, constantly changing and revealing something new and different.

Each painting is a story with history, memory and a voice. It is a challenge and a privilege to try and discover it.
